When reaching out, please share your phone number, email, and a few times I am likely to reach you in person. It may take up to 48 hours for me to respond, but I will call or answer your email as soon as I can.
I’d like to spend 15-20 minutes getting to know you and what brings you to therapy. We’ll also use the time to establish a session fee, determine a meeting time and location, and discuss next steps.
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and discuss your concerns, interests, and intentions for therapy. If we decide we are not a fit, I can offer you referrals that may meet your needs.
The second and third sessions allow us to clarify your goals and create a mutually determined plan for your wellbeing. These sessions may include conducting assessments relevant to your presenting concerns.
Sessions are 50 minutes long.
My session fee is available upon request. I accept private payment via all major credit cards. I am also an in-network-provider for the Health Plan of San Mateo. If you have another insurance provider, I’m happy to provide a superbill as an out-of-network provider. Please keep in mind that insurance reimbursement depends on your insurance provided, plan, and other factors which we can discuss.
New, existing, and former clients may use my secure client portal to schedule consultations and sessions. You can also find practice paperwork, invoices, and superbills in the client portal. Finally, it is a HIPAA secure way to communicate with me.
When scheduling via the client portal, it can take me up to 2 days to approve the session. Sessions may be scheduled a week in advance. Thanks and I look forward to seeing you!
